Everyone knows that EPS Foam is a good insulation material, but this is the first time we had seen it used for this application. When our customer in Virginia needed a way to better insulate the lid of their cryogenic tanks, they contacted Universal Foam Products to provide a solution using 3 lb density EPS 9” thick and custom cut to fit the top of the tank. The high R-Value EPS provided a snug seal and gave them the thermal value they needed.
