1 lb density expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam spheres and half spheres are used to create the entire solar system for display in a retail environment. The EPS spheres range in size from 24” diameter to 48” diameter. They are textured and painted to resemble each planet and the sun. Some are hung from the ceiling and the half spheres are attached to the wall. A very creative use of EPS by a very talented model maker in Terryville, CT.
