The Lion's Fountain located in Culver City, CA Town plaza, just outside of Los Angeles, is comprised of an eight foot tall bronze lion sculpture surrounded by forty lighted jets that shoot streams of water into the air. This stainless steel sculpture was enhanced by the artist with the addition of a stainless steel ball. The 30” EPS foam sphere was used to test the scale before the artist made the real piece. You can see that the stainless sphere was made a little bigger because of this test run, which saved them a lot of money getting the size right the first time.
