When Adelphi University in Garden City, NY decided to perform the play Rimers of Eldritch, they wanted a large statue of the Lady of Blind Justice as a backdrop. They purchased a block of.9 lb density EPS 12” x 48” x 72” and carved it using a hand saw, a reciprocating saw, a sure form and a rasp. Once carved the statue was coated with Roscoe Foamcoat and painted with Rosco paint. The statue turned out great and the production was a success.
