This artist and sculptor from Jersey City, NJ, utilizes Expanded Polystyrene Foam Blocks to transform drawings into lifelike sculptures. Employing his exceptional artistic skills and a variety of cutting tools, he begins shaping the foam with a hot wire. The majority of the sculpting is done with a brush designed for shedding horse manes, while the finer details are achieved using different wire brushes and sanders.
To protect the foam, he first shields it with aluminum foil and fiberglass resin. Afterward, he applies a primer containing resin. For the final touches, he uses sign paint enamels for coloring and seals the artwork with an automotive clear coat.
