Expanded Polystyrene Foam blocks provided by Universal Foam Products were used to create a large, multi-section heart sculpture for the City of Waukesha, WI. Unveiled on November 21, 2024, this meaningful memorial honors the victims of the tragic Christmas Parade attack in Waukesha on November 21, 2021.
The customer utilized a nominal 2lb Expanded Polystyrene Foam to sculpt the heart's sections, which were mounted on a steel frame and finished with a proprietary composite system and paint. Additionally, the same Expanded Polystyrene Foam was used to create molds for casting the large concrete ribbon and bench elements extending from each half of the heart. This beautiful work of art is a significant tribute, and Universal Foam Products is proud to have contributed to bringing it to life.
